Meet the West Coast Avengers at Free Comic Book Day

West Coast Avengers. Need we say more.

They're amazing. And not just because of the costumes. When you give them a small (or large) donation at our Free Comic Book Day Mini-Con, that money will go right to the Shriner's Hospital for Children.

"Shriners Hospitals for Children — Northern California is a regional pediatric medical center providing highly specialized care and rehabilitation to children with congenital conditions and complex medical needs regardless of the ability of the patient or family to pay." - From their website

West Coast Avengers fundraising for Shriner's Hospital For Children this FCBD 2014

We're pretty sure you need to experience the West Coast Avengers, so get ready to take some pictures this coming May 3 at our Free Comic Book Day Mini-Con.

Ha, ha, as if 15,000 free comics wasn't enough reason to come out for FCBD!

About the West Coast Avengers

The West Coast Avengers organization was founded to provide a collective identity for costuming fans in California with similar interests.

They're proud to put their resources to good use for fundraising, charity work, and volunteerism.
The West Coast Avengers promotes creating, owning, and wearing the costumes from the Marvel Universe featured in films, comics, and television.

To capture the magic of these characters, the goal is to portray an accurate presentation of the character through individual costumes. However, recognizing that the hobby centers around fun and creativity, allowances are made for the creative modification of these costumes as long as the end result is appropriate for the viewing of young children.

Meet them on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Empire's Comics Vault.

Find out who else will be at our FCBD Mini-Con 2014 celebration.
