Our Sacramento, CA, comic shop is about more than just the books. Not only do we have the comics you are looking for, with a wide range of independent titles, but we have created a community and host events in our two lounges, one with a 65” TV and the other in our local art gallery.

We host a monthly graphic novel discussion group, charity events, local groups, and other events.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you buy comics?
We have such a huge inventory of back issues that our storage is full. So we’re not currently buying comic book collections, large or small.

Do you sell board games and card games?
We refer anyone interested in buying board games and card games to Great Escape Games, which is just down the street from our store, or to Viking Hobby, located in Carmichael, on El Camino just past Mission Ave.

Do you carry toys?
We love toys, and they grace our shelves. We also accept special orders for toys.

Do you allow dogs?
We are a dog-friendly comic book shop. In fact, you’ll find the pugs—Rolly Polly and Captain Dylan Hunt (“Dylan,” for short)—in the shop almost every week. We only ask that you take your dog to potty before coming inside, that they’re trained, and that they get along well with other dogs and people.

Can I read the comics without buying them?
Comics should be purchased before being read. It’s ok to carefully flip through the book to see if you want to buy it.

Can I have my community event or project at the shop?
We love hosting community events. Contact us to see if we can help. There’s no cost.

Community groups like Cookie Connection, Girl Scouts, Women In Film, and TopCow Productions (“How to break into comics”) have hosted events at the shop. We’ve also welcomed student films, book release, school projects, and school class rooms (“Comic book creation panel discussion”). 

Can I have my party at the shop?
Who doesn’t love a party! The shop has been used for birthdays, weddings and wedding photos, and even engagement photos. Contact us to see if the shop is available.

Continuum Press (ECV Press) is a Sacramento, Ca, based small press publisher that works hard to bring you some of the best in indy comics. Whether you are looking for science fiction or mystic adventures in a world not quite our own we have what you are looking for. Our variety in characters, settings, genres and art styles will surprise you.

RELIC & EGO, THE HUNTERS, TRIAD, LITTLE KORI IN KOMALAND and THE CONTINUUM UNIVERSE are currently our 5 core books. Despite the differences in each title you can count on the fact that anything you read in any of our publications or in any of our webcomics will all be part of the same world. Continuity is very important to us as we know it is to our readers.
