NaNoWriMo With Us This November 2014

Isn't it about time you sat down to write down that novel you've been talking about writing?

Join us each Friday night from 5-9 p.m. in November to bring that novel to life.

How To Participate
1. Sign up for an account at NaNoWriMo.org so that you can use its accountability and inspiration tools.
2. Check out the list of people who participated and have been published. Wow.
3. Commit by blocking Friday nights from 5-9 p.m. on your calendar.
4. Come on down to Empire's Comics Vault at 1120 Fulton Avenue, Suite K, Sacramento 95825 and let's write Friday nights!

And in case we haven't mentioned it yet, NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month.

Write A Novel, Screenplay or Comic This November

All month long, November 2013, we're participating in NaNoWriMo -- National Novel Writing Month. Of course, we realize that you may not want to write a novel but a comic or movie screenplay instead. Write what you want! Every Friday night starting at 5pm.

What is NaNoWriMo?

NaNoWriMo is an annual event that takes place each November with the goal of motivating professional and amateur writers to complete writing 50,000 words of their novel.

Naturally, because the comic book creating and writing community is so important to us, we've expanded to include anyone who wants to join a motivated group of people to write something.

Write With Us Every Friday Night

Come down to Empire's every Friday night, starting at 5pm, in November to meet others who are working hard to write, and put in some serious writing time. This is the 3rd year we have participated in this and it has been a lot of fun. We hope to see you all there.
