Celebrate Free Comic Book Day 2021 in Sacramento
/Free Comic Book Day returns to Sacramento in 2021 in one form or another. Find out where in this post, then visit your local shop on Saturday, August 14, 2021 for free comic books at participating locations.
We've put together this quick list for your reference. We highly recommend getting to know each shop and its personality. It's one of the best things about comic shops.
Here at Empire's Comics Vault & Hot Sauce, we kept our event exclusive to our members this year (hope you checked your email). We welcome new members. There's no cost to join.
We're looking forward to bringing back our FCBD Festival in 2022. Remember those?
In the meantime, we want to make sure you get your Free Comic Book Day fix. You're in the right place. Sacramento is an amazing comic shop town.

Some notes about our list
We'll highlight the Sacramento Public Library's FCBD event first.
After that, you'll see city and area in alphabetical order and the comic shop(s) in that area.
Some of the shops specifically mentioned masking up, so be sure to take a mask with you.
Lastly, if the comic shop was having a sale on comics and/or other merchandise, we did our best to note it. Some however had decided against discount sales this time around.
As always, free comics are available on a first-come, first-served basis and while supplies last.
If we missed a shop or the information has changed, please let us know, and we'll update the list.
