Meet Sarah Straub at Creative Women Mini-Con 2014

Artist and illustrator Sarah René Straub returns to Creative Women Mini-Con for her second appearance on Saturday, September 20, 2014.

Sarah is the creator of the comic Blind Follies: The Flower and Death and colorist and letterer for Shane Matthew Murphy's Birdland comic. She draws inspiration from fairytales and mythology.

"From as far back as I can remember, I have always been weaving tales, crafting whatnots, and creating drawings inspired by the fairytales, myths, and fantasy stories on which I was raised," says Sarah.

Sarah has participated in numerous comic book conventions and art related events, including, Anime Expo, StocktonCon, SacAnime, Crocker-Con, Fanime-Con, Emerald City Comicon, 2nd Saturday Sacramento Art Walk, Angel's Art Gallery, and Creative Women Mini-Con 2013.

It's a pleasure and a privilege to have Sarah with us again at CWMC. You'll enjoy meeting her and discussing all things creative.
