Liana Kangas
Artist, Writer, Creator
Liana Kangas combined a lifelong love of comics and a professional marketing background into a full-time freelance comics career. That’s what you call a Creator.
Recording with SyFy and writing her first published gig (that Paul Azaceta drew) are among her favorite accomplishments:
She drew her first creator-owned comic, She Said Destroy, written by Joe Corallo and published by Vault Comics.
She recently co-wrote Seeds of Eden with Joe at TKO Studios with artist Paul Azaceta.
Her recent Kickstarter for her creator owned series Trve Kvlt with Scott Bryan Wilson ran over 300%.
Liana has been featured on Nerdist, SYFY Artists Alley, Panel x Panel and articles from Paste Magazine, Doom Rocket, Vice, and Comics Alliance.
And the list goes on.
Her clients include Legendary Pictures, King Features, Z2, Vices Press and Scrappy Heart Productions. She’s drawn covers for series published with Comixology, Image, Mad Cave and Vault.
