Eat Amazing Food, Maybe Win Comic Books at SactoMoFo Fest on December 3

Meet us under the bridge at 8th and W. Rain or shine. Superheroic eating will take place.
Superheroic? Yes, superheroic. Kind of like the fantastic Mr. Fox.

It's all going down and the coming up food festival. SactoMoFo celebrates street food by organizing festivals where we, the citizens of Sactropolis, dine from gourmet food trucks and other food vendors.
SactoMoFo is not only about the gourmet food trucks and other food vendors, of course. This December 3rd, it's also about families in need, so bring a toy to donate to Toys for Tots and some food goods for the Sacramento Food Bank.
When you donate, you'll be entered to win the coolest prizes ever - free comics - and non-comic-booky-prizes, too. We hope to see you there.
Learn more about SactoMoFo at their website, Facebook page, SacBee.com's blog post, or the article about their April 2010 2011 event at MidtownMonthly.net

Supergirl #1 - Simply Good Storytelling

Supergirl #1
Story: Last Daughter of Krypton
November 2011
Rated T
Writers: Michael Green & Mike Johnson
Penciler: Mahmud Asrar
Inkers: Dan Green with Asrar
Colorist: Dave McCaig

It's simplicity is elegant. The story is poignant.

A young girl feeling lost in a nightmare awakens to an even more painful reality, and you, the reader, feel that pain. That's the story of Supergirl waking up on Earth.

Don't let the simplicity fool you. It's a powerful story you'll be glad you read, and along the way, you'll have enjoyed the perfect marriage of words, pencils, inks and colors.

That's my review. Yes, that's it. To say more would be to ruin it.
